Do I need a separate password for Eulex Desk?
No. Sign-in goes through your Eulex account (single sign-on). You can also request a sign-in link by email and open it, or type the 8-digit code from the email.
What language does Eulex Desk answer in?
In the language of your question — Croatian or English. The interface is bilingual, and you can mix languages within a conversation.
Which document formats does it support?
PDF (with OCR for scanned files), .docx, and .doc. Several files at once.
Do the answers constitute legal advice?
No. Eulex Desk is a support tool for research and drafting. Always check the citations and key references; responsibility for the final decision remains with the lawyer.
What is the difference between Context and Contexts?
Context (the button with the counter) chooses the legal corpora and connectors Eulex Desk may search in this chat — where it looks. Contexts (the layered icon) switches on your own saved sets of sources and instructions — what it must limit itself to and how it should work. See Contexts.
Can I use my own API keys (BYOK)?
Yes, on the Legal Pro and Legal Team plans. BYOK means Eulex Desk uses your own provider subscription — you pay at cost, with no markup.
How do I get the Word add-in?
On the Pro plan and above — see the Word add-in page for setup (manifest.xml plus a six-digit pairing code).
What happens if I use up my daily limit?
A warning arrives at around 80% of quota, and a block at 100%. On the Plus plan and above, you can buy token packs (top-ups) that are used automatically when you exceed the limit. Top-ups do not expire.
Can external MCP servers see my documents?
The operator of an external MCP server can see the tools called, the queries, and document excerpts. The built-in legislation servers are Eulex’s own. Add only third-party servers you trust; adding your own servers is available on the Pro plan and above.
